Summer is upon us, and the lazy days around the pool in the back yard are piling up. Jirden and I were cleaning the skimmers and enjoying a swim when I noticed we were not alone! Something was watching us from underneath the diving board. I pointed it out to Jirden and his first reaction was to investigate. But then it moved, and he was out of the water like a shot! We Chased the frog around the pool for a while trying to catch it, but it was just to fast. I finally caught it, with the net we use to removed leaves, and placed it outside the fence. Upon closer investigation Jirden pointed out that the frog had four eyes. Two little ones that kept blinking according to him. I had to explain that those were not eyes, but they were the frogs nostrils. They were opening and closing when he breaths air.

A cave full of Ware cubs
Gadgets Gadgets everywhere and how they make you think!
Was just looking at some of my youngest's creations yesterday and thought I should start posting them online. He spends lots of time creating these new inventions that have wonderful explanations that go along with them. I got him a set of tinker toys that he plays with on a regular basis, so much so that i got a him an identical set to increase the size of his creations. I did the same fr his older sisters but they had alphabet squares that interlocked. We used to make castles and other walk in creations.
